The Telular SX5 device gives the ability to have dial tone via cellular service needed for pbx phone systems, standard phones, and fax machines for offshore applications. The Telular device connects with the PBX phone systems allowing access to all pbx features and functions. Some examples include on hold functions, call transfers, conference call, etc.

LAN capabilities

The Telular SX7 device gives the ability to have highspeed data capabilities via cellular service. There are two SX7 options available. The SX7T gives the flexibility to have voice and 3G broadband capabilities in one device. The SX7M is used for 3G broadband data only. Many will utilize the SX5’s and the SX7 products together to have a complete offshore mobile office ready to go.

Connectivity to Desktop and Laptops

The Telular SX7 device has the capability to interface with Ethernet and Wireless routers. This will allow you to instantly establish a LAN utilizing the broadband cellular connection. Utilizing a wireless router gives the flexibility of many computers working off of one Telular SX7 device. The SX7 is IT friendly because it can be used by many different routers.
