Accessing voice and data applications everywhere is a necessity in today’s environment. Telular’s patented wireless technology allows voice and data transmissions to seamlessly connect customers’ existing communications network with modern Cellular plans.  The Telular SX5 device works together with the Zoll EKG equipment. From the field EMT’s and Paramedics are able to transmit EKG information directly back to the hospital in real time. This allows the doctors reading the EKG’s to direct the ambulance team to the appropriate hospital best able to assist the patient’s needs. If the local hospital deems the patient critical or above its level of care the ambulance can be directed to a more advanced hospital. This time saving tool has been proven to save lives.
The Telular SX5 connects to the Zoll equipment via a standard RJ11 cord. The Cellular carrier with which the SX5 is activated would need to have available CSD (circuit switch data) on its network. For more information on this feature please contact us.
